Vetro Power NANO-EVERO Dry Plate UV PCB Protection is a solvent-based corrosion and humidity protection for pc boards  in industrial use. Due to its ability to form a flexible, abrasive resistant dry film on the surface of the coated objects, it can be used to protect PCB´s and other electronic devices from getting short circuited by water or humidity and also protects the parts from corrosion. Due to the dry surface with a high flexibility it resists animals and does not attract dust or other residues from the environment. Vetro Power NANO-EVERO Dry Plate UV PCB Protection can be applied at room temperature by spraying, dipping or  painting (for industrial application dip coating is recommended). The coating needs a curing and hardening time from 15 min - 2 hours at room temperature. Heating up to approx. 40°C (e.g. IR) reduces the curing time to some minutes. The coating will be fully cured after 24 hours at room temperature.

Open or Close What is VP NANO-EVERO Dry Plate UV PCB Protection?

It is a moisture and corrosion protection coating for PCBs and electronic assemblies with an integrated UV tracer. This tracer enables quick and accurate inspection of coating coverage under UV light, ensuring precise application.

Open or Close Is it environmentally safe?

Yes. It fully complies with RoHS 2002/95/EC and the EU End-of-Life Vehicle Directive 2000/53/EG. It is free from lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium (VI), aromatic solvents, and halogenated flame retardants, making it safer for the environment and for handling.

Open or Close Is the this coating environmentally friendly and safe to handle?

Yes. Like the standard Dry Plate Protection, the UV version is fully compliant with the EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and the End-of-Life Vehicle Directive 2000/53/EG. It contains no lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium (VI), halogenated flame retardants, or aromatic solvents, ensuring it meets stringent environmental and safety standards.

Open or Close Can coated components be repaired or re-coated?

Yes. The coating allows solder-through repairs, which means components can be serviced without stripping off the protective layer entirely. After repairs, the coating can be selectively reapplied to restore full coverage and protection.

Open or Close What industries benefit most from this coating technology?

The UV feature is particularly valuable in industries with strict quality assurance requirements, such as aerospace, automotive electronics, marine engineering, telecommunications, medical device manufacturing, and defense electronics. It is also suitable for industrial controls and other sensitive electronics exposed to moisture and harsh environments.

Open or Close What application methods are suitable for this coating?

It can be applied using dipping, brushing, spraying, or automated selective coating systems. Pre-cleaning to remove dust, grease, and ionic contamination is essential to achieve maximum adhesion and performance.

Open or Close What is the recommended dry film thickness for optimal performance?

The ideal dry film thickness is 25-30 µm on flat surfaces and no more than 20 µm on component pins to ensure both protection and electrical reliability.

Open or Close How long does the coating take to cure before use?

At room temperature, the coating becomes touch-dry within 30-60 minutes and reaches full curing in approximately 12 hours. For faster curing, controlled warm-air drying may be used, provided that excessive heat is avoided to maintain coating integrity.

Open or Close What is the storage life of VP NANO-EVERO Dry Plate UV PCB Protection?

When stored in unopened original containers between +5°C and +25°C, the coating retains its properties for at least 12 months. Proper storage away from direct sunlight and moisture will ensure consistent performance.
