Vetro Power NANO-EVERO Dry Plate Protection is a solvent-based corrosion and dewatering protection. Due to its ability to form a flexible, abrasive-resistant dry film on the surface of the coated objects, it can be used to protect PCBs and other electronic devices from getting short circuited by water or humidity and also protects the parts from corrosion. It does not attract dust and other residues from the environment. Vetro Power NANO-EVERO Dry Plate Protection can be applied at room temperature by spraying, dipping or painting. The coating needs a curing and hardening time of 2 hours. The coating will be fully cured after 24 hours at room temperature.
Open or Close What is VP NANO-EVERO Dry Plate Protection?
It is a room-temperature curing, one-component coating designed to insulate and protect printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies from moisture, corrosion, and environmental damage.
Open or Close What does the coating protect against?
It provides high resistance to oxidation, rust, and electrochemical damage while maintaining insulation performance in humidity, condensation, and splash-prone environments.
Open or Close Is it RoHS compliant?
Yes. The coating is fully compliant with the EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and End-of-Life Vehicle Directive 2000/53/EG, and is free from lead, cadmium, chromium (VI), mercury, aromatic solvents, and halogenated flame retardants.
Open or Close Can the coating be repaired or reworked?
Yes. It can be soldered through for repairs and re-applied on serviced areas without compromising protection.
Open or Close Where is it typically used?
It is suitable for automotive electronics, marine equipment, aerospace systems, industrial controls, telecommunications devices, household appliances, and military electronics.
Open or Close How is it applied?
It can be applied via dipping, spraying, brushing, or selective automated coating systems. Surfaces must be clean, grease-free, and dry before application.
Open or Close What is the recommended dry film thickness?
On flat surfaces, the recommended thickness is 25-30 µm, and on component pins, it should not exceed 20 µm to maintain insulation performance.
Open or Close How long does it take to cure?
At 23°C, the coating is touch-dry within 30-60 minutes and achieves full curing in approximately 12 hours. Warm-air drying can be used to accelerate the process, avoiding excessive heat.
