Vetro Power METALGUARD 250
Vetro Power METALGUARD 250: Industrial Non-Stick, High-Temperature Coating for Metal
High-Temperature, Non-Stick & Scratch-Resistant Coating for Metal Surfaces Up to 9H Hardness.
Benefits
Vetro Power METALGUARD 250 is a solvent-based, heat-resistant non-stick coating for metallic surfaces. It bonds to pre-treated steel, sandblasted steel, and stainless steel, forming a thin, durable film that withstands continuous operating temperatures up to 250 degrees C.
- Non-stick surface performance: Prevents organic and process material from adhering to treated components, making cleaning faster and reducing production downtime.
- Heat resistance up to 250 degrees C: Maintains coating integrity under sustained thermal exposure. The curing process itself (215 degrees C for 60 minutes, or 250 degrees C for 15 minutes) sets the coating to handle real industrial heat conditions.
- Surface hardness up to 9H: Scratch resistance of 4-5 Mohs before curing develops to up to 9H hardness on the finished surface, based on internal testing.
- Thin, precise film thickness: Applied by spraying, the dry film is 10-15 microns thick. When applied by dipping or flooding, the film is 2-10 microns, which preserves component tolerances for precision parts.
- High coverage efficiency: Used undiluted, one litre covers 10-12 square metres. When diluted up to 1:5 with butyl acetate, coverage extends to up to 60 square metres per litre, making it cost-effective at scale.
- Suited to demanding industrial environments: Designed for machine components exposed to heat, food processing equipment where non-stick properties matter, and mechanical engineering applications where surfaces take repeated thermal and mechanical stress.
- Multiple application methods: Can be applied by spraying (recommended), dipping, or flooding, allowing it to work on both flat surfaces and complex geometry components.
