VP Bacto Protect for Textiles is an advanced nanocoating specifically designed for textiles. It offers antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, alongside being superhydrophobic, oleophobic, and soil-repellent.
It can be applied across various industries and settings, including food processing, healthcare facilities, transportation vehicles, public buildings, and more. It is suitable for use on textiles such as scrubs, gowns, masks, and PPE in medical settings, as well as in critical and sensitive areas where hygiene is paramount.
The performance is rigorously tested for properties such as hydrophobicity, oleophobicity, antibacterial activity, and durability. Tests include water droplet tests, spray tests, antibacterial activity determination according to international standards, and efficacy against viruses like SARS-CoV-2.
It consists of SiO2 dissolved in water, with each 100g solution containing 0.02499g Triclosan. The formulation is designed to provide effective antimicrobial properties while being safe for use.
It is a ready-to-use solution applied by spraying onto cleaned textiles. Optimal protection is achieved by spraying 2-3 times wet-on-wet on the textile surface, followed by spreading excess liquid if necessary. Hardening time varies but is typically complete after 24 hours at ambient temperature.
Stains should be treated immediately by absorbing with a cloth without rubbing. For persistent stains, mild surfactant cleaners can be used, followed by rinsing with clear water. Care instructions from the textile manufacturer should be followed for best results.

Yes, slight colour changes can occur due to various factors such as surface structures, applications, and environmental influences. These changes do not affect the performance of the product and are not considered grounds for complaint.
The unopened product has a shelf life of at least 2 years when stored between +4°C to +30°C. Once opened, it should be used within 6 months for optimal performance.
