Sealer for Polished Marble, Granite and Non-Absorbent Stone

Ready-to-use silicon dioxide sol-gel coating for polished marble and granite, porcelain, engineered stone and high-density ceramic. Hydrophobic and oleophobic, PFOA-free and PFAS-free, no change in look or feel.

Performance & Testing

Surface preparation: the stone must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease and residues of cleaning agents. Any cleaner used before coating must be rinsed off and the surface allowed to dry fully.
Application methods: HVLP spray is the recommended method. Industrial spray equipment, a soft paint brush, a lint-free microfibre cloth or immersion of small parts also work.
Technique: on larger floors and facades, work square metre by square metre and spread evenly. Avoid ponding; excess product should be wiped off before it dries.
Consumption: 2 to 5 ml per m² depending on the stone and the method, about 2,150 to 5,380 sq ft per litre.
Test patch: apply to an inconspicuous area first to confirm stability and result on that particular stone.
Batch note: the raw materials can give slight batch-to-batch colour variation in the liquid. This is normal and has no effect on the treated surface.
